The density is the amount of thickness that you wish your unit to have. By adding more hair, it becomes more dense, which gives it more volume!

• for the most natural looking wig we suggest a 130% density for 235 grams of hair ( 2 bundles double drawn) .

• if you want a thicker and more voluminous unit, we sudgest 150% density : 275 g ( 2.5 double drawn bundles) 180% density: 335 g ( 3 double drawn bundles) 200% density: 385 g ( 3.5 double drawn bundles)

The longevity of your wig purley relies on you, your lifestyle & how well your care for her. Your wig is a carefully handcrafted piece made with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. However, if you dont care for her properly the life of the unit will be shorter.

For example if you brush her or scratch her roughly or pull the hair alot etc she wont last as long. For your wig to last,

- brush her gently

- add serum about once a week

- wash her when she starts to feel dull ( on average once every 3 weeks to a month is great but if you are working out, using lots of product or sweating alot then wash her when she feels a bit dull or dirty )

- use quality shampoo, light conditioners & hair masks to retain the moisture of her hair

Here at BIJOU, it is essential that customers measure their head prior to purchasing their desired unit as there are three cap sizes, please find our size guide link at the bottom of our website.

- sew my wig on to braids? Yes!

- glue it on? Yes!

- wear it glueless? Yes!

You can sew our units on, use adhesive or just wear them glueless with the elastic band.

Unfortunately not, we used to be an open salon & store however we have gone 100% online so we do not have any store fronts that allow customers to walk in. If you are unsure of anything, feel free to email us at info@bijouluxurywigs.com and we would be happy to help!

We make units for all women with varying skin tones so most of our units are made in transperant HD lace, this way you can apply your foundation or powder to the lace to make it exactly your skin tone.

It's important to take time to measure your wig size before making your purchase. Feel free to use our size guide to figure out the correct cap size.

Yes of course!

Our units are hand made with the most raw virgin human hair which allows you to treat the wig exactly like your real hair.

Please note ! We do not advise you to wear your unit in chlorine pools. Chlorine takes the natural oils from your hair, leaving it dry, rough and damaged. Chlorine can also cause a chemical reaction in your hair, changing the colour of your hair.

If an item is marked as "Sold out", we suggest you visit frequently to see if it has been restocked. If the item is still out of stock after two weeks to a month, it's most likely to be removed from our inventory. Some units might have a "Custom make" option, so you can look out for that too.
